Henry Olonga was the first black cricketer, and youngest-ever player, to represent Zimbabwe at international level.

From 1998 onwards, Henry was a permanent fixture in the Zimbabwe side. He was selected for the 2003 World Cup where he made international headlines when, along with Andy Flower, he donned a black armband to protest against the "death of democracy" in Zimbabwe. Widely praised for his bravery, the act ensured that he could not return to his homeland after the tournament. He fled Zimbabwe to start a new life in England.

Henry has always been passionate about music and has been performing since the tender age of 14, when he discovered his tenor voice after being cast as a girl in Oklahoma (whilst attending an all boy’s school).

Henry has released a single called ‘Our Zimbabwe’ and has also released his first contemporary pop album ‘Aurelia’ with one of the UK’s top music producers Robbie Bronnimann.

He is currently working on his second and third albums, one of which will be a gospel album celebrating the fact that Henry has been a practising Christian for the last 17 years.
